Relationship Problems

My love life so far has always been a upward rolling train.  But sometimes shit happens.  One second is all lovey dovey, the next it's a freaking volcano and a hurricane happening at the same time.

I'm always trying to juggle being the best girlfriend and a good daughter altogether. But when I'm trying to be a good girlfriend by doing things for him, it could turn out to be a disappointing choice to my parents. And being a miss-goody-two-shoes, I always think of what my actions would make my parents think of me. The chain reaction from this upsets my love life so bad that sometimes it just blindsided me and i just have no idea how to handle it. The thing is, we just expect each other to do the things we have in mind and when it's doesn't come out the way we want it to... KABOOM.

The stuff that he'd do for me is beyond what I could do in some many levels. Which makes me feel so useless and unappreciative. Sometimes I have the thought that how he deserves someone who'll always be there for him and not drag promises. Someone who is much more of a perfect person. Prettier, smarter, much more capable of doing the things that I couldn't or don't. But selfish me holds on to the glimmer of hope I have that it wouldn't be true.

Here's to hoping for the best.

P.S I'm trying as hard as I can to muster the courage and I love you.

Throwback:2013

To all the readers out there,

I'm wishing you a Happy Christmas. :D

I'm enjoying mine here in a town called Chester. And having a hell of a good time. I've been eating so much food lately I'm turning into a balloon!

New Years resolution? Losing weight! HAHAHAHHA! Which has been going on for years! But I'm serious now. I can't eat so much anymore! But after New Years! Hehehhehe.

Anyways, this was what I asked my besties the night before. 'Since the year is coming to an end, what were the best and worst thing that happened?' These are really great questions to get to know the people you love!

For me, the best would be meeting my boyfriend. You could pretty much sums
it up that he's probably the best and worst thing that has happened to me. He is such a sweet guys most of the time that I'm really lucky to have him. He'd give surprise visits, buy me flowers and always take me out when I'm in Manchester. He also wakes me up sometimes for class when asked to even though he's super tired and never missed a Skype call with me. HAPPY GIRL TALKING HERE. But at the same time, when we start quarreling about something, I just can't deal. That's the worst part.

But there's still a lot of things I'm really grateful about and no only meeting my boyfriend. I'm really grateful to be able to come abroad to study, get into a university that I really want, and most importantly, have such a loving family. Who are both back in Malaysia and in the UK. I'm also really lucky to have met so many wonderful people throughout my life and hope to meet more in the future.

The worst situation in 2013? Nothing much really, other than I assisted in wrecking my car back in Malaysia with my cousin. OMG, we sat by the fountain near my house and just contemplated our mistakes, ( I'd like to think that spot is our talking spot now because we'd just go there and talk when there are some problems.)! LOL! Thank god that's over. I think that's my worse bit about 2013. The rest was just a wonderful experience.

I'm really thankful for the life I have now and will definitely make the best of the opportunities that comes my way.

Oh well, just to sum things out, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. May you have a great year ahead and that you stick to your new year resolution. *ahem* losing weight! ;D

Till next time dear readers, xoxo

Humble Beginnings

Dearest readers,

HI!!!

So, I haven't been updating my blog lately. And no, it wasn't because I was lazy. (Even though I am a REALLY REALLY lazy person) It was because I was busy, settling my stuff for university for the past few weeks.

It was really a stressing matter that, straightening out registrations and all. For those who are planning to go overseas to further your studies, I'd advice you to get an agent to help you. (Interstudy. Ask me for their number) Because it could get really confusing when you don't know anything at all.
It troubled me so badly to a point that I cried, thinking that I wasn't going to continue my studies anymore. But I am glad I have my Knight in Shining Armour / Boyfriend in Cute Glasses to sorta comfort me through it. Encouraging me. Supporting me. And just basically picking me up when I crumbled. I LOVE YOU!!! <3

So, in the end, everything's settled and I'm finally here! In The University of Reading.

But, before I get to that, right before I left for England, my big brother celebrated his birthday earlier just so I could attend it! (That's what I like to think anyways) :D

It was his 21st birthday and we celebrated it with a bunch of people, a.k.a. family and friends. It was in a restaurant called Summer Garden near Tenby International School in Penang. It was really fun and the food wasn't that bad as well.

I'm really glad that I could participate his birthday party. Mainly because it's his 21st birthday. And because I probably couldn't celebrate any birthdays of my family anymore as they're all during term time.

Well, I'm gonna stop with the birthday update by wishing my brother a Happy Happy Birthday! And may he succeed in whatever he chooses to do in the future. Although he could be really mean and crazy sometimes, I'll never forget that he's the one that could really cheer me up when he really tries to. I LESS THAN THREE YOU MY BIG MONKEY! XOXOXOXOX...

Here are some pictures from the party!

All cousins that were in Penang

Brother with his friends behind.

Da family...

My brother, Ariel and I.

Scuba club members.

Parents with brother.

Excuse my fat arms.

Brother after a speech.

Cousin Celine and younger brother.

The party ended right about 11+ almost 12. And right then, I haven't finish packing my luggage for my flight at 6.30 in the morning. That meant that I had to reach there by 4.30-5 am to check-in my luggages.

Spent the whole night just stuffing my clothes into the luggage and at the end, it was overweight. T.T
That's the thing about being a girl going abroad, you just HAVE to take whatever you can. HEHEHEHE... With the help of my younger brother and my cousin brother, we manage to get my luggage to weigh 39.7 kg! LOL! Talk about being a pro packer!

After being sent of by my family, I had probably 40 minutes to kill. Therefore, I skyped Ryan who's still awake in Manchester and talked. <3<3<3

So once I reached KL, I sat down near the gate I was suppose to be at. And watched a Korean Drama called The Master's Sun. For those who haven't heard of it. You've just did. Therefore. GO WATCH IT! IT'S REALLY REALLY GOOD! NO JOKE!

When it got to boarding time, OMG It was packed. Me being the lazy one, didn't queue up for it. Instead, I just sat at the side and waited for the people to get on first. *smart*

When I got onto the plane, I was seated in the middle of two friendly people. A Hong Kee and an Australian lady. It wasn't bad at all. We chatted for a short while about some things.
After about 13 hours of flight, finally, we arrived at our destination. Great ol' Britain. Or London Heathrow Airport to be exact.

It took probably 2 hours to get from the plane to the arrivals hall because the custom was EXTREMELY packed. Had to stand there for such a long time! So after that was settled, I hurried down to get my luggages because someone special is waiting for me! I WAS EXTREMELY EXCITED! But before I can see that person, I faced a difficulty. And that was getting back my  very dirtied, stained luggage. Someone's 'oh tau eu' or dark soy sauce spilled on top on my luggage. and when I got back to check, MY CLOTHES WERE STAINED TOO! SCREW THE IDIOT WITH THE FANTASTIC IDEA TO BRING LIQUIDS HERE.

At long last, after pulling out my stained luggages, I finally get to walk out to the arrivals hall! And instead of turning right like the person told me to, I turned left and kinda ruined the surprise he wanted to give me. For those who already knows who 'he' was?AWESOME! For those who doesn't, it was my boo bear, Ryan Ho! I was really glad he came to help me, or else I wouldn't know what to do. With no working UK number and all. All I can say to him is THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR COMING ALL THE WAY FROM MANCHESTER EVEN WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE A CLUE ABOUT GETTING AROUND LONDON. I LURRVVVV YOU!!!

So, after we found each other, we met a Malaysian, named Lydia, who was working as a guide from Reading University to get students to Reading. She was really really friendly. And so, she guided us on how to get from the airport to Reading. It was approximately an hour bus ride. And finally boo bear and I got there safely! YAYYYYYY.

I'm gonna stop here now, because this blog is gonna become a novel soon. LOL! Here are some pictures with me and Ryan from the next day. Too tired to take pictures when I got here.

Anyways, till then readers, HAVE A GOOD WEEK! xoxoxo.

Spectacular September

Well, it's been 2 weeks since I've blogged.

Anyhow...

Let me give you an update of my life... :D

So, I went to the capital of our country for a couple of days to apply for my visa. Hopefully it's successful. (FUN FACT: Capital of Malaysia=Kuala Lumpur) FINGERS CROSSED!

We headed down to KL at around 11.30am after prepping and all. Had to get enough sleep because had a barbeque the night before for my cousins 20th Birthday... God... Everyone's getting older! *nostalgic*

 Repost from instagram.

So after driving for approximately an hour, we decided to stop somewhere to have lunch. Which was 'char siew' rice. It was DEEELISSSHHH. Too bad I didn't take any pictures of it. BUT! I did take pictures of myself! A lil selfy session in the backseat. hehehehe. Don't hate the player, hate the game. LOLOLOL!!!

After lunch, it took another 2 hours or so to get to KL. When we got there, we went to the hotel right away to check in and just take a nap.

Then for dinner, we went to the Hakka Restaurant with my cousin and her family. It was a great dinner. Saw my baby niece. The Princess of the family. That little rascal. LOVE HER! We ordered so much food that we had to take it away or as we Chinese like to say 'dapao' home.

Sorry. Forgot to take pictures. I fail as a blogger. I eat first before I remember anything else. T.T

By the time we finished the second course, all of us were complaining about having too much food. So we sat and chatted for awhile. Let me explain what we ate. My parents order appetizer, well, so called 'appetizers' that is. They were 4 dishes, that were REALLY REALLY good. Some chicken, vegetable, soup and mince pork with tofu. Then there was also hot pot or steamboat for the second course. OMG. I love my family. They just love to eat as much as I do! Explains my body size.
Then after resting for awhile, my dad suggested to have desserts. Even though I said I don't want any, I still had dessert. YES! I AM THAT FICKLE MINDED. We ordered peanut paste dessert and 'Wor Peng'. Two BIG pieces of Wor Peng because we couldn't decide which flavor to order.

Then it was back to the hotel after dinner.
Before coming to KL, Ryan asked for a favour which was to get a shirt from his friend there. And I said 'Sure'. So when I got back to the hotel, went up to the room and waited for his friend to call. And call he did. Telling me to go down to the lobby and that he was wearing a red shirt. You know, to identify him easily.

I got down, sat in the lobby for awhile and scrolled through my phone. When I looked up, I saw a guy with red shirt walking in... He looked so much like Ryan that I was staring at him, stunned. And when he walked closer, it was him! I WAS SO SHOCKED! But it was a happy kind. He was holding a bouquet of chocolate flowers. I was a happy girl. *feeling lucky*
He's mine people! Back off! :D *smiles sweetly*

I really do love surprises. The good kind that is. I'm not gonna suffocate you readers with my blissfulness anymore and just show you a few pictures.

So here's a picture of the people who also had to wait to apply for visa. TOOK ME 2 HOURS TO GET EVERYTHING DONE.

For those, who's planning to go UK get ready for a lot of waiting, flights and just the best experience of your lives.

Till next time! ;D

Hong Kong Fun Trip

Hi there readers!

Sooooo, I just sent boo bear off in the airport. Now, after a week of holiday, I finally have the time to blog about my week in the land of people mountain people sea (人山人海) a.k.a HONG KONG CITY. And that ain't a joke. The amount of people in the streets are CRAZEEEHH! This whole trip was exactly one week, so I'm not gonna bore you with all words. But some words are, of course, needed.

I went there with dear boyfie *draws hearts all over his name* <3<3<3 which is btw, Ryan, to visit my friend who came to Malaysia for a holiday too. Whoever that has been following my blog would know who. But for those who don't, it was King who came to visit. I've even wrote about  it in the Road Trip blog.

The trip to Hong Kong was great and fun BUT it was extremely tiring. We basically went out from 11am to probably 11pm or later each and everyday.

On the day of arrival to the fantabulous land, King's mom took us to a really fancy mall which sells all branded stuff. After looking at the prices, we all agreed that buying in the UK is waaaayyyy cheaper. Anyways, after a little shopping, her mom treated us to dinner in the beautiful Hyatt Hotel. And let me tell you, the food was UH-MAIZE-ZING. Sadly, I was too busy eating to take pictures.

For the next day, we went to Lui Yan Kai and some other streets. The street food was awesome. Especially the curry fish balls. During some other day, we had dim sum in a restaurant which cost a of total 800+ HKD just for 3 person! But it was well worth it though. But during dinner with King's mom, they all cost up to 2000 HKD for the 4 of us. Coming from a country where you can get food super cheap, I was just shocked outa my mind.

I see this is getting longer and longer. I'm going to just summarize the whole trip here as I'm too lazy to write an essay about the 7 day trip. We went to Ocean Park, cycling around HK, tourist-ed (my word), went for a ghost movie with moving chairs (totally scared the shytezzz out of me), karaoke-d, partied, ate tons of food, cooked, made jelly, got a lot of dresses from Aunty Gigi (King's mom), met people, trained my cantonese speaking skills and made friends. But most of all, made memories that will last forever with people I love.

I guess that's about it. It's another one week of rest and it's off to Indonesia with the family and friends on a diving trip for a week. Will keep you guys posted about the trip in the next blog. STAY TUNED PEEPOHHH!

Here are pictures from trip.
