Places, Adventures and CONCERT!

Hi there!!!

So, Sunday marks my 2nd week here in Reading and... I don't know, feels like it's been months. Still trying to get use to the environment here. e.g. no more Glasgow gang that I hung out with last year in Scotland. I MISS THEM... I mean, Shu and I use to always see each other EVERY SINGLE DAY there. With a few more people. We do our laundry, shopping and just basically hang out together everyday. I'd just go to her, sometimes, (not that I have a lot of problems....) to talk about my troubles and chat. She's this really witty girl who gives the greatest advices. Which earned her a name W^2 / W square from Ryan and I.

The other person that I miss too is King. She use to always come over to my place and stayed over. We'd laugh our asses off before bed and do that silliest stuff ever. She also cooked some really yummy food. T.T Being exactly 403 miles away from them just sucks. But this is the choice I've made. So, I'm sticking with it to the end.

I hope this school year ends fast so Ryan can come to Reading. *squeals* I CANNOT WAIT! YAAAAYY...

Anyways, back to life in Reading. The first week of uni, known as freshers week, is basically the week that you go out, drink, get drunk and party. As much as I want to go, I didn't. Mainly because it was dangerous and that I've made a promise not to go clubbing or parties without Ryan. <3 Hence, it was really a bore. BUT next year, with Ryan here, I AM SOOOO GOING! HEHEHEHEHE....

The second week was WAYYYY BETTER because I've met new friends. It didn't feel as if I were some loner freak anymore. Other than the fact that I've made friends, what really made it ONE MILLION THOUSAND TIMES (reference to Maximbady's videos...LOLOLOLOL) better was that.... wait for itttttttt.... *cue drum rolls* I WENT TO A BRUNO MARS CONCERT IN THE O2 ARENA!

IT WAS AMAZING! THE BEST EVER! HIS VOICE IS SO SEXY, IT SHOULD BE A VICTORIA'S SECRET MODEL. (Cheers to my metaphor. YEAAAA I thought of it) *WINKS*
I went to the concert with my boo bear, Mr. Ryan and my cousin Joey and her boyfriend, who are both in London studying. It was truly an amazing night.  Joey and I just sang our hearts out until our throats feels kinda sore. My favourite out of the whole concert was The Lazy Song. *SINGS,TODAY I DON'T FEEL LIKE DOING ANYTHING* (Which is pretty mush everyday). We sat quite FAR away from the stage because we bought the tickets late. But it was still an awesome experience. I'll try to put up the video in my blog. But in the mean time, here are some pictures from the concert!

Till next time! xoxoxoxo

Humble Beginnings

Dearest readers,

HI!!!

So, I haven't been updating my blog lately. And no, it wasn't because I was lazy. (Even though I am a REALLY REALLY lazy person) It was because I was busy, settling my stuff for university for the past few weeks.

It was really a stressing matter that, straightening out registrations and all. For those who are planning to go overseas to further your studies, I'd advice you to get an agent to help you. (Interstudy. Ask me for their number) Because it could get really confusing when you don't know anything at all.
It troubled me so badly to a point that I cried, thinking that I wasn't going to continue my studies anymore. But I am glad I have my Knight in Shining Armour / Boyfriend in Cute Glasses to sorta comfort me through it. Encouraging me. Supporting me. And just basically picking me up when I crumbled. I LOVE YOU!!! <3

So, in the end, everything's settled and I'm finally here! In The University of Reading.

But, before I get to that, right before I left for England, my big brother celebrated his birthday earlier just so I could attend it! (That's what I like to think anyways) :D

It was his 21st birthday and we celebrated it with a bunch of people, a.k.a. family and friends. It was in a restaurant called Summer Garden near Tenby International School in Penang. It was really fun and the food wasn't that bad as well.

I'm really glad that I could participate his birthday party. Mainly because it's his 21st birthday. And because I probably couldn't celebrate any birthdays of my family anymore as they're all during term time.

Well, I'm gonna stop with the birthday update by wishing my brother a Happy Happy Birthday! And may he succeed in whatever he chooses to do in the future. Although he could be really mean and crazy sometimes, I'll never forget that he's the one that could really cheer me up when he really tries to. I LESS THAN THREE YOU MY BIG MONKEY! XOXOXOXOX...

Here are some pictures from the party!

All cousins that were in Penang

My brother, Ariel and I.

Cousin Celine and younger brother.

The party ended right about 11+ almost 12. And right then, I haven't finish packing my luggage for my flight at 6.30 in the morning. That meant that I had to reach there by 4.30-5 am to check-in my luggages.

Spent the whole night just stuffing my clothes into the luggage and at the end, it was overweight. T.T
That's the thing about being a girl going abroad, you just HAVE to take whatever you can. HEHEHEHE... With the help of my younger brother and my cousin brother, we manage to get my luggage to weigh 39.7 kg! LOL! Talk about being a pro packer!

After being sent of by my family, I had probably 40 minutes to kill. Therefore, I skyped Ryan who's still awake in Manchester and talked. <3<3<3

So once I reached KL, I sat down near the gate I was suppose to be at. And watched a Korean Drama called The Master's Sun. For those who haven't heard of it. You've just did. Therefore. GO WATCH IT! IT'S REALLY REALLY GOOD! NO JOKE!

When it got to boarding time, OMG It was packed. Me being the lazy one, didn't queue up for it. Instead, I just sat at the side and waited for the people to get on first. *smart*

When I got onto the plane, I was seated in the middle of two friendly people. A Hong Kee and an Australian lady. It wasn't bad at all. We chatted for a short while about some things.
After about 13 hours of flight, finally, we arrived at our destination. Great ol' Britain. Or London Heathrow Airport to be exact.

It took probably 2 hours to get from the plane to the arrivals hall because the custom was EXTREMELY packed. Had to stand there for such a long time! So after that was settled, I hurried down to get my luggages because someone special is waiting for me! I WAS EXTREMELY EXCITED! But before I can see that person, I faced a difficulty. And that was getting back my  very dirtied, stained luggage. Someone's 'oh tau eu' or dark soy sauce spilled on top on my luggage. and when I got back to check, MY CLOTHES WERE STAINED TOO! SCREW THE IDIOT WITH THE FANTASTIC IDEA TO BRING LIQUIDS HERE.

At long last, after pulling out my stained luggages, I finally get to walk out to the arrivals hall! And instead of turning right like the person told me to, I turned left and kinda ruined the surprise he wanted to give me. For those who already knows who 'he' was?AWESOME! For those who doesn't, it was my boo bear, Ryan Ho! I was really glad he came to help me, or else I wouldn't know what to do. With no working UK number and all. All I can say to him is THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR COMING ALL THE WAY FROM MANCHESTER EVEN WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE A CLUE ABOUT GETTING AROUND LONDON. I LURRVVVV YOU!!!

So, after we found each other, we met a Malaysian, named Lydia, who was working as a guide from Reading University to get students to Reading. She was really really friendly. And so, she guided us on how to get from the airport to Reading. It was approximately an hour bus ride. And finally boo bear and I got there safely! YAYYYYYY.

I'm gonna stop here now, because this blog is gonna become a novel soon. LOL! Here are some pictures with me and Ryan from the next day. Too tired to take pictures when I got here.
